Current Goal

I am a Cuban Finger Wrestler who is looking for a big break in wrestling here in the US. My goal is not only to hit as many geocaches in the US as possible but also to get my picture taken with wrestlers of all types, toys, High School, College, Olympic or Pro. I can use these pictures to persuade the folks back in Cuba to give me another shot.

"Slam" Gomez, Cuban Finger Wrestler

I come from Havana Cuba and really enjoy skate boarding and wrestling. Since I am a finger, you can guess which type of wrestling I like the most.

I have not won any championships yet however I am hoping to take a tour of the US to check out any and all types of wrestling from High School, Olympic, to the Pro's. Some pics would be nice to send back to the gringo's in KS and also my fight promoters in Cuba.

Really nice site, good walk in the woods. Two seniors handled it well. GPS was perfect. We parked at fishing pond, worked very well. Emporia High School has really good wrestling program, will get some nice photos, and keep Gomez moving in Wrestling country. Nancy and Bill

  • Happy Hopper Weather has prevented Slam Gomez from being deposited in some planned caches, but he has been busy. He went to Chicago from Kansas, then, he visited St. Louis. Here he is at the Arch!! Then back to Kansas to visit the State Wrestling Champ, Herrera, in Emporia, via newspaper. Next week, he will find his new home...
  • Happy Hopper On the way to Chicago, Slam Gomez visited the International Museum of Wrestling, in Newton, Iowa, where 8 Olympic wrestlers were to be honored in a couple of days.

When I visited the cache where Slam was staying, he jumped out and put my pinky in a sleeper hold until I promised to take him with me. I don't know too many wrestlers, but I'll try to move him around.
