The Buddha looks over the Pacific Ocean

Our infant daughter is called "The Buddha" because she's rather roly-poly and yet very serene. We bought this little Buddha on the Santa Monica Pier and will leave in Singapore if possible - our Buddha's first international trip!

On our way to the caches early in the morning, Buddha and friends stopped to take a picture with the Landmark Tower, the tallest building in Japan, and host to a Mitsubishi Electric elevator that was once the world's fastest.
