Kiwi's like to travel, so like his parents he wants to do the big OE. Travel to the UK then on to Europe, before returning to NZ by whatever means.
Kiwis, the people that is, are renowned for their ingenuity. Given a piece of fencing wire they will craft a tool to do the job, and with the basic tools they can perform the most difficult tasks.
