Liberty Bob

This is our 2nd Bob TB, he is being released on 19Feb06. Our daughters are NUTS about Bob, please take plenty of pictures and post them up. It is always fun to see our TB's in action!

Bob was accompanied by his friend Captain Quack Sparrow. See, Bob had a travel bug's dream to see the real Statue of Liberty. Captain Quack wanted to get back to the Atlantic Ocean to complete a coast-to-coast race with his cousin.

They had their dreams come true today. They visited Liberty State Park on the New Jersey side of the Hudson. They saw the Manhattan skyline (and thought about the fact that today was the 6th anniversary of "the last normal day we remember in America". Of course, tomorrow is the 6th anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the city that we were now admiring).

For Liberty Bob and Captain Quack: Mission accomplished.

I first found Liberty Bob in California. My wife, the bugcacher (MorWoods) grabbed it from me and let him spend the night in Germantown, TN. So now I have retrieved him from his stay in TN and will take him to NY tomorrow!
