This bug is the key to The Monarchy geocache. You must retrieve it and take it with you to locate The Monarchy. It should then be placed in another geocache in the Santa Barbara vicinity.

About This Item

This bug doesn't really travel very far. Snag it to find The Monarchy and then place it in another cache within 20 miles or so of Santa Barbara. Please don't leave the bug in The Monarchy cache itself. Full details at:

    Picked up in Alien Ship and transported to The Monachy to complete that mission as well. Being that I started Alien after dark and then picked up Monachy it was late. I took this one intending to drop in Do Drop Inn, but when I arrived I noticed that sign that said the park was closed at sunset. Unfortunate that everything outdoors in SB county seems to close a dark to prevent those that would take advantage. I will get it back in position soon, probably in Cachuma/San Marcos Pass area.

    Ha! $$tracker - you are too fast. I rousted lingwoods to drop it off & it was gone by the time I went to get it! Thanks for dropping it back off so quickly! Glad you enjoyed the Monarchy. I think we will make it our #200 this weekend. The Key will be available again right after that!
