We found this travel bug in Cherokee NC. It was under a bridge in a cache called Help me quick. It was in a good hiding spot right along the river.

As mentioned in anearlier post, the photo is still in the clear cover but someone has tapped the edges of the plastic to protect it. The photo is still fairly clear. Great idea.

My 7 year old son and I replaced your travel bug with our first travel bug. This is only our 3rd cache find but we are trying to locate a cache on our weekend trips. My son thinks it is awesome to go on a scavenger hunt on the weekends. I am going to place this cache somewhere here in upstate South carolina or at the beach next weekend.

It is awesome to see a travel bug still going since 2005. That is really cool! It is hard to believe that this group in the photo is now 7 years older! A lot of these kids are young adults now. keep up the good work of your program.

Grabbed it today on a visit to the TB hotel to sends some other bugs on their way. The picture was in rough shape. Although someone has replaced the bag to keep the water off it. The laminate has seperated on the picture. I brought it home this evening and have taped all the edges back together with duct tape...(duct tape fixes everything!)

Gotta tell ya.. this is a great idea to put the picture on the bug! I am totally amazed it is still intact after this much time! I will try to upload a picture to show you how its stood the test of time. We were excited to see this one...never seen one like this before! Very cool!!

I travel a bit myself...so I will see if I can try to move it to Myrtle Beach SC or maybe Western NC sometime soon so you can visit some new places!
