On the top half, it is engraved in latin: "Non nobis domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuoda gloriam" - "Not unto us, not unto us O Lord, but unto thy name, give the glory"
On the bottom half it is engraved in latin: "Pauperes commilitones Christi Templique Solomonici hierosalemitanis" - "The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon"
The back of this coin has the Geoffroy de Vichier version of traditional seal of the knights templar with two knights riding a single mount - Hugues de Payens & Godfrey de Saint - Omer.
It has the latin engraving "Sigillum Militum Xpisti" - "Seal of the army of Christ"
