Current Goal

This coin is dedicated to Michael Kapelson AKA Moto Mike. Mike was one of my best friends when I was living in Arizona. His life was tragically cut short when he was hit while riding on his custom triumph motorcycle by a drunk driver in the middle of the afternoon. Mike really enjoyed riding his motorcycles especially his Ninja and his custom Triumph. He also owned several racing bikes, both street bikes and dirt bikes. He was only 19 years old when he was taken from us and had been riding since he was 15. The accident that took his life was his only accident involving another vehicle. Until that time the only other accidents he had ever had were on his dirt bikes on the track or on the trail.
We all miss him dearly.

About This Item

Moto Mike

This coin is being released as part of the Todie's Wild Ride Bike Awareness Project initiated by Rockin Roddy in response to the death of his good friend Tod Phillips. On August 12, 2008, Tod was riding a motorcycle when he was killed in an accident caused by a left turning vehicle. Tod was one third of Team Rod & Tod w/KAboom. This coin is released in his memory and in memory of all motorcyclists killed on the road. As part of this coins journey, I would like to collect different tips for drivers to be more aware of motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians. Feel free to add any tips you wish to the logs to share with others.

DON'T DRINK AND DRIVE, EVER!!!

DO NOT KEEP THIS COIN!
It is the personal property of Tamster56 who has allowed its temporary use as a Geocaching game piece.

It may not be sold, traded, or kept indefinitely. It is NOT intended to become part of someone's collection. Please log it and move it to another cache as quickly as possible so that others may enjoy it!
