Carlos

Carlos has a VERY specific (and epic) goal.  He'd love for you to help him and will reward you greatly if you do.  Helping Carlos along his journey will earn you entries into a drawing for a set of bug tags.  If you can't help him, feel free to log him in and out of the same cache but leaving him for someone who is headed where he is.  All the details (include contest info) are in the description.  

CURRENT GOAL: Carlos needs to get to THE NETHERLANDS!

In honor of a recent European adventure my husband and I took, I'm launching Carlos.  He'd like to see, on his bicycle, some of the awesome places we visited.  Doing that means he needs the help of LOTS of cachers.  Yes, the goals of this bug are ridculous but hey, that's half the fun.  The "MISSION" section will regularly be updated with Carlos' current goal.

Destinations:

1. Carlos needs to get to THE NETHERLANDS and specifically, AMSTERDAM.  While there, he MUST visit Beer Temple, an American Beer bar.  Bonus points for enjoying a MICHIGAN beer with him while he's there.
2. Next, Carlos needs to head to PARIS where he'd like to visit the quaint neighborhood of MONTMARTE and eat creme brulee at THE TWO WINDMILL CAFE.  Bonus points for taking his pic with some of the Amelie memorabilia.
3. Staying in France, Carlos would like the third stop on his journey to be AIX-EN-PROVENCE where he would love to visit Pizza Capri (on Rue Mirabeau).
4. Off to Spain!  Carlos wants to check out BARCELONA and see La Boqueria/St. Joseph's Market on Las Ramblas.  Carlos hears they have great juices and produce for sale.
5. Last stop, MADRID - Carlos is a Real Madrid fan and wants to visit Santiago Bernabea, the stadium where they play.

Points:
Get him to a spot on his list (in the correct order): 5 points
Help him move toward a spot (ie. in the correct direction or close to an airport or train station): 1 point

Points will be arbitrarily awarded for all kinds of things, like taking him on a great adventure, posting a creative story of his trip, taking a picture in a great location, etc.  Each point is worth one entry in a drawing for a free set of TB tags so that you can start your own bug.  The drawing will be held once he reaches his destination.

Rules:
HAVE FUN!  Geocaching is about having fun!  It's about the adventure and the silliness and the great spots and memories.  Don't get bogged down in his lofty goal, just help him and be a part of a really cool adventure!
