I'd like this Bug to travel with runners to road, trail, and Ride & Tie (see www.rideandtie.org) running races around the world. Ultimately I'd like it to visit the Boston area; and wind up in a cache in New York City, NY for the NYC Marathon.
This Achilles medal will bring you good luck if you bring it to a road, trail or Ride & Tie foot race. It comes from the Bend, Oregon "Around the Bend" marathon (in which I won my age division; 50-54 year old division); the race took place in 2004 (no longer in existence however.) It would be great if you took a photo of yourself at a race or event holding the travel bug!
