To travel the world from cache to cache, keeping someone's place in a book along the way whenever possible. I'd love to find out what my fellow cachers are reading these days as I always love to find a new book! Feel free to leave the title and a short description of a favorite book or a special story about your mom or being a mom when you log this travel bug's travels. Pictures are always welcome too!
Mom's Serenity Bookmark Travel Bug is a tribute to three of the campingdecker mom's favorite things ... caching and all of the outdoor activities that go along with it, reading, and the quest for Serenity. The travel bug was first included in the campingdeckers Cache for Mom, which was a present for Mother's Day 2009. The Serenity prayer on the bookmark is one that campingdeckers' mom, CDJ, repeats multiple times a day as a means of staying calm within her rather hectic reality (as most mom's can surely relate)!

A friend of mine found this...and didn't know what it was. When she brought it to me (after realizing it had something to do with geocaching), I geeked out and explained how cool travel bugs are in the Geocaching world. She didn't think it was that cool. ANYWAY, I have it now and will place it in a cache asap.

This mom can appreciate the serenity prayer. Will move it on! I am the mother of four daughters...19, 16, 5, and 3. We call them our "bigs" and our "littles". The bigs are ours biologically, and we were blessed to add the littles two years ago, although my geohubby is a bit outnumbered in the house. He has leaned to tolerate pink and all things girlie!
