So after 7423.4 miles of geocaching (and rest assured, this number doesn't even begin to cover all the official miles geocached in "The Ruc Truck"), it has been handed off to a family member who just happens to be a volunteer firefighter with North Carolina's Cedar Mountain Fire Department. Though this TB page has some description of what this rig was about, here is some additional information...
Steve Rucker was a firefighter from Novato California who helped fight the huge fires that burned in the San Diego area in 2003. Steve was also the only firefighter out of more than 13,000 to lose his life during those firestorms. He died fighting the "Cedar Fire" on Wednesday, October 29, 2003.
