Seven years ago my son and I launched three travel bugs. The goal was for them to race to Maine and back to California.
Two of the bugs dropped out early, like TB's do, but "Coast-To-Coast Racer One" kept right on going. Seven years and over 30,000 miles later this little bug that could arrived close enough to reach out and grab it.
My son, Alex, is now seventeen, and at 6'4" is far removed from the 10-year-old boy who had high hopes for a few Hot Wheels. In a week or so we'll send it on its way again, and maybe it will reach its ultimate goal of visiting all 50 of the United States.
Here's a great big thank-you to all the cachers who moved this little feller on its way over the years!
