This TB has a new purpose. Its brother was stolen from the Outer Banks North Carolina in the first cache it was placed in! (see updates below). In honor of his fallen brother this backup TB will have to do twice the work to accomplish its original "Oregon Trail" mission.
NEW MISSION: This time we are starting out in Cape Dissspointment, Washington. The new mission is to reach the east coast, get a picture taken there, then head back west like his brother was supposed to do.
The final destination, if someone willing, is to be placed in the cache titled "By the Boardwalk" in Beaverton, Oregon (Cache # GC31F6).
Please make its journey fun with a lot of cool stops, but make sure it works its way to the east coast then back again. Take pictures!
UPDATE 2/21/09: It's made it all the way east and now it's making it's way back west. Thanks to all who's helpded it along so far!
UPDATE 7/26/09: It looks like the original was found. See July log. There's TWO TBs out there now. The miles will be a bit skewed but they are both heading their way back west! Keep them moving!
