Before you take me to my next location give me a hug and think of those that died the day of the crash and the friends, familys and fans whose lives were devastated by this tragedy. Think of your own loved ones and go give them a big hug. On game day think of me and root for the Herd.
I am Marco. I am the mascot for Marshall University's Thundering Herd. I am starting my journey in a cache at the spot where 75 members of the Marshall football team, coaches, boosters, and plane crew lost their lives in a plane crash on November 14, 1970 . I am also starting my journey on the 39th anniversary of the crash. WE ARE...... MARSHALL!!!! GO HERD!!!!
