    Found Larry hangin' out on the Silver Strand today. He had a nice week there, but he was ready to move on. He has been in California quite a while and is ready to go. I told him I would take him back to the Mid West with him this week and he seemed to perk up a little bit. Then we went online and searched for his friends. He really got excited when we found out that Madame Blueberry is right here in San Diego with him. We contacted akop&fam to see if we could get the two of them together before Larry heads out of town. The poor cucumber is as excited as an eight year old waiting for Christmas.

    Larry the Cucumber was so excited to have left his last site with us and get a look around. Larry was content to just hang out and relax. However, one day when I came home from the grocery store, he saw that I had produce in one of the bags and he got really excited that I had found and brought his friends home to hang out. Much to his disappointment they were a variety of apples. He tried to hide his sorrow, but I could tell how much he missed his friends. I told him it was okay to miss them and that I would help send him on his way. He looks forward to meeting others who may lead him to his long lost friends. Good luck, Larry!

    Well, Larry the Cucumber was hanging out with Mama Cache and heard I was going to be going to the grocery store soon and figured he would have better luck finding his friends in the produce section. So, he hitched a ride with me. Will take a look, but somehow I think they are somewhere else. We will keep an eye out and send him in the right direction. (Plus we heard Mama cache talking about making a salad and he would have NO part of that.)
