WIN! In the spirit of fairness we must append the rules for our Travel Bug distance competition. Thus, the same person(s) may not carry a TB from cache to cache. The TB must be placed in a cache and then retrieved from that cache by a different person(s), thereby avoiding any unfair advantage gained. Thank you all for your help in this matter!

About This Item

This Travel Bug started in a 6th grade Geography class from Scenic Middle School in Central Point, Oregon. There are 37 other students entered in this contest to see who's TB will log the most miles and see more of our world by the end of the school year. We appreciate your help in our mission and would love to hear stories and see pictures from the places you've seen during your travels.

    Dropped off in a thick forest on the side of an extinct volcano, on the most southernmost island of the most southern state in the Union. Happy travels.

    • Hawaii Volcanoes National Park This pic was actually taken on the other side of the island, but I haven't downloaded any recent pictures yet. The TB was dropped off on the northernmost volcano on the Big Island, Kohala, and the picture was taken on Kilauea, near the Holei Sea Arch Earthcache.
