Current Goal

I am one of the Travel Bugs of "The Great 5-Dog Race"; trying to reach the 4-Corners National Monument (intersection of Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico and Utah). If possible, please take pictures of my journey along the way; showing what I have been seeing as I crossed America. Once at the 4-Corners Monument, please take a picture of me straddling the benchmark and send a copy to "NASHUAN@AOL.COM".

Once I have completed the first half of my mission, cut the lower portion of my tag off and send me towards Nashua, New Hampshire and place me in Nashuan's First Cache (GC1D56C).

My Brother's family lost their 7-year old beagle, "P.J." recently (very unexpectedly; and it got me thinking about the dogs that my family has had over the years. I decided to launch a 5-dog race, which would also include Patches (my first dog - a Miniature Collie/St. Bernard mix), Lucas (A Golden Retriever that I lost in 1999 - was the great love of my life), Sheba (A German Shepard that my girlfriend and I lost just after Easter of this year) and Duke (my sister's German Shepard, that she still has).

Picked up the PJ dog bug in DC and headed west, but alas a little too far west. Melba (my old english sheep dog) and I found a pretty spot in the red woods (GC10WJP). I am sorry to say that we left it a no dogs kind of place, but hopeful that PJ will be picked up quickly by the numerous campers/travels that pass by... woof to you PJ!
