This travel bug was destined to travel with me (flipflopski) for a while. Technically, the DelMarVa Peninsula is an island. The Chesapeake and Delaware (C&D) Canal separates the southern portion of Delaware (and Maryland's Eastern Shore) from the northern part, thus surrounding the "peninsula" and making it an island. I'm traveling later this summer and will drop it off soon. I'll look for an island, but who knows.
