Flip Flops

Flip flops, also known as jandals (japaneses sandals), thongs, toesis, slip slaps, zories, hawaii chappel, are popular footwear all over the world. Based on woven japanese footwear, their first exposure to the western world showed up in the 1930s, being worn by returned serviceman as beach shoes. The modern equivalent was designed in the 1950s. The Australian swimming team wore them during the 1956 Olympics and their popularity began to increase.
  These little thongs are pencil erasers, a copy of havaiana designed flip flop. The fish and star design was made especially for a Croatian retail franchise called aqua.
