Current Goal

Connor is not really a mountain goat but it is a tribute to who he was.  He was an exceptional young man in many ways including his love of climbing up mountains and rock climbing.  He was a good student with a keen intellect who loved the sciences particularly physics and was a deep thinker about the universe and curious about what it all meant.  Unfortunately, he also became interested in experimenting with oxygen deprivation to the brain, commonly known as the “Choking Game” among other names and it took his life.
In Memory of Connor, this travel bug would like to see the mountains of the world and experience their cultures. It would also like to educate kids and their parents about the dangers of the “Choking Game” so that maybe it will prevent the loss of other youth around the world.  It happens worldwide.  Learn about is at the following websites; http://www.erikscause.org/,  http://www.gaspinfo.com/en/home.html,   You can also see Connor’s memorial facebook page at: http://www.facebook.com/ConnorArnottMemorialBlazeATrailProject.

Take a moment to learn about the “Choking Game” and if you email us what the most important thing you learned, we will send you choking game awareness ribbon at no charge.  You can wear this ribbon and share what you learned with others. Email us at montanaarnott@gmail.com and be sure to provide us with your mailing address.
As parents, we were completely unaware of this practice and kids tend to think this activity is not dangerous.  Don’t let this happen to you or your friends.

Please include a photo of him near the cache you place him in.

Thanks
