Der weiße Trabant ist unterwegs: vom Sachsenring Museum Zwickau machte er eine Reise nach Norwegen, nun möchte er auf Umwegen, soweit ihn seine Räder tragen, wieder nach hause fahren. Bitte helft ihm zu seiner Heimat zum GC Fernblick in Zwickau, damit er dann nach einer kleinen Durchsicht zu einer neuen Reise starten kann.

The white Trabant is on the way: from the Sachsenring museum in Germany its made a journey to Norway, but now it wants to go home with a way around, so long as its wheels are going. Please help it to come home to the GC Fernblick in Zwickau, so it could start perhaps after a little revision to a new trip again.

Viele in der ehemaligen DDR waren stolz, nach 10 oder mehr Jahren Bestellzeit endlich Besitzer eines solchen Wagens sein zu dürfen: der Schwarzmarkt blühte, oft war ein Trabbi gebraucht teuerer als ein Neuwagen. Viele Trabbis wurden, wenn durchgerostet, wieder komplett neu aufgebaut - so konnte ein Trabbi durchaus ein Leben lang seinem Besitzer treu sein ..

Many people in the former GDR were proud of to have such a new car after 10 or more years order waiting time: it was just possible to buy on the black market, often a used Trabant more expensive then a new one. Many very rusted Trabant's were completely rebuild - so a Trabant can devoted it's owner a whole lifetime.
