Current Goal

There's an interesting story behind this travel bug that involves a lot of luck. I was out caching (unplanned caching, as it happened), and found the third geocache that was nearby. Just as I was about to leave, my eyes chanced upon a TB on the ground. I thought I had just saved a trackable! But when I looked up the code online, I realized that it had not been activated. There was no real way to contact the owner, as it wasn't activated, so I decided to activate it myself. Therefore, I give whatever persons this trackable ends up with this task: Have this trackable visit from cache to cache normally, but only drop this trackable in a geocache that has enough room for it to fit comfortably, is not damaged, and (most importantly) is near a very good view. Weather this TB ends up in the sun-scorched deserts of Arizona, the Swiss Alps, or anywhere inbetween is up to you. Good luck caching, and may your travels bring you to beautiful places.

About This Item

This travel bug is being sent off as it was found: a regular TB dog tag, with a laminated picture of a Blue Herron attached (Blue Herons are native to Maryland, where this travel bug is from). On the bottom left corner of the picture says, "Photo by Lynette Lenz" in black font. Greetings from Maryland and the Chesapeake Bay!

    Definitely closer to the Swiss Alps than to the deserts of Arizona. The view is disgusting and the box is more a tin can for sardines.
