About This Item

Flat Teddy

We received Flat Teddy (a larger version) from our friend Teddy who lives in CT. He is doing a project with his elementary school class after reading the book "Flat Stanley" written by Jeff Brown. In the book a bulletin board fell on Stanley and he became 1/2 inch thick. He wanted to go on a trip, so his family folded him up and mailed him in an envelope to CA.

Members of the class made a flat version of themselves and have sent them out for travel and adventure. We thought it might be fun to introduce Flat Teddy to a new mode of travel.

It was found in Kendal Clock Tower which we did just prior to this one. We will take Flat Teddy up state this weekend.

Thought I knew how to solve this problem. I brought Flat Teddy down to Kendall Fl from Merritt Island Fl, near the Kennedy Space Center. I left him at Kendall Clock Tower, but forgot where I left him. Now someone has grabbed him and is moving him on. So I'm just leaving a note. He still should get the miles from the Waverunner Canal cache to either Kendall Clock Tower or Bridge & Tree cache. Flat Teddy went for about a 4 hour car ride. Thanks for the company.

I discovered this TB on the kitchen table this morning and was told we could log it! Myself and my boyfriend, Jon (Dale n Barb's son) are staying over here in Merritt Island for a little while so we find and discover new things every now and then. We also go out and find them ourselves over the weekends though as well so its not always this easy.😛
