Current Goal

On July 7th of each year, I have a drawing for a $25 gift certificate to Groundspeak (see my profile page for additional information). Once you have logged this travel bug and placed it in another cache (It MUST be moved to a different cache to be eligible to enter), your name will be enetered into the raffle. Good Luck!

There is also an Ax Poker Chip TB. If you log the poker chip your entries will be doubled. Ax nickels and poker chips can also be found in caches as trade items.

About This Item

Please move this travel bug to another cache as soon as possible. YOU CAN ONLY LOG THIS TB ONCE PER RAFFLE. Thanks!

Made a mistake. Since we are new to geocaching, we logged this incorrectly. We found this bug back on 5/13/07 and we took it to move and did not log it correctly. We have placed it and it is moving West. Very sorry for the confusion. Thanks for your patience.

What an adventure! We are new to Geocaching and this was our 6th find. Using our low tech GPS, we parked in the wrong spot; about a 1/2 mile from where we were supposed to be and bushwacked our way to find the right trail. However, once we were on the right track, we were overjoyed to discover the wonderful trail and the sites around us. My wife lived in the area all of her life and was thrilled to discover a part of town that she did not know existed. We took tons of pics and even stole some kisses! We found the cache and discovered our first travel bug. We replaced it with a Martin's Civil War Geocoin laminate that my wife brought back from Mississippi. My wife was trepidatious about giving it up because of the sentimental value and was determined to find the right place. If you take this laminate, try your hardest to move it FAR AWAY. It needs to go a long way. We are going to place the Ax Wooden Nickel bug today as far as we can. TFT trail, TFTF, and TF a great day!
