On the front of the copper coloured, Cornwall 2008 geocoin is the Cornish flag the cross of St Piran a white cross on a black field, the bird is the Cornish Chough the emblem of Cornwall and has a long history in Cornish myths and legends, at the bottom is a old Cornish motto/toast which translates to copper, tin and fish the three main industries of Cornwalls past.
On the reverse of the coin is an old engine house used in the mining industry.
