Discovered this geocoin at 10 Years! Perth, WA event. Thanks

My family originated from Cornwall also, below is an extract from some of family history...

Earliest known ancestor of my Paternal Grandfather's lineage is Anthony SANDOE, (1748-1827), Cornwall.
The family tree contains around 2092 descendants.

First emigrant to Australia was Joseph Carne SANDO, his wife Fanny, and their children aboard ABOUKIR from Cornwall, England in 1847.

Voyage
Joseph Carne Sando, his wife Fanny, and their family emigrated to Australia aboard the ABOUKIR arriving in Port Adelaide on 4 Sep 1847. The ship had been built less than 1 year before.

Description of ABOUKIR
3 masted Barque, 663 tons nm, 816 tons om

Extract from the Adelaide Observer 11 Sep 1847
"This fine (3 masted) barque of 816 tons, Scott Commander from London and Plymouth (left 1st June 1847) arrived on Saturday last (4th September) after a passage of 95 days, with F. J. Beck Esq and lady, Mrs Scott and Dr. Hill, in cabins, and 302 emigrants (of all ages) in the steerage. The adult male emigrants include 30 Cornish miners, 3 shoemakers, 3 tailors, 3 blacksmiths, 2 masons, 4 carpenters and 1 tin miner, the rest are cheifly agricultural labourers. We presume the reason why no Devonshire miners have ventured to cast their lot amongst us is that when the "ABOUKIR" sailed, day-work men in the mines of Devonshire were getting £3-£4 per week, and there did not appear sufficient inducement in the temptations to emigration."

"Arrived.....Joseph C. Sando, wife and one child, Fanny Sando, Elizabeth Sando, Anthony Sando, John Sando, Sally Sando, Joseph Sando......"

Passengers
Joseph Carne Sando age 48
Frances (Fanny) (wife of above) age 50
Joseph Carne Sando (mason) age 25 (married Mary James 2 months after arriving) [My family linage descended from Joseph]
John (tinsmith) age 23
Anthony age 21
Elizabeth Mary age 17
Frances age 15
William age 11

The SANDO surname originated in Cornwall before 1600, England and was sometimes spelt SANDOE or SANDOW. Parish records were often based on phonetic spelling of names so some people have alternative spellings of their name.
