Be a true and honest caches,....only claim caches you have found...always leave a cache as good or better than found.... alway move trackables along....always let the lady cacher have first choice of the nice swag....well maybe....you know the rules!
Mid size coin with mid heft. 1.75 inches 3 mm thick polished silver. Available in other metal colors. Unusual shape with extended pass through. The front has 3-D work with enamel of tapestry style work. The background metal texture is nice. The rim is done in red enamel and has script that reads "team MVG 2/69 and team MVG 88". Very nice period artwork. The reverse shows what appears to be a coat of arms. It shows a castle, a sword and leaves done in red, yellow and black enamel. .Nice coin. Euro coin.
Info on the coin: Antique Silver, Antique Gold, LE75 Black Nickel and XLE50 Polished Gold. By the way, the XLE50 polished gold was not available in the shop. The two brothers MVG 2/69 aka Markus and MVG-BB aka Manuel had the idea for this coin together and shared the XLE50. These were then given away or exchanged to geocacher friends.
The GeocoinShop introduced the coin as follows: "The "love and loyalty" coin refers to the castles, city walls and all the other medieval places where geocaches are hidden, to also show that the Middle Ages were not only "dark", but also had beautiful (colorful, bright) sides. We chose the general term "love" (i.e. the courtship and love for a woman) and did not distinguish between low and high love. And what would geocaching be without our wives or families, who pursue the hobby of geocaching with us."
The geocoin shows on the obverse a medieval depiction of two young noblemen on the left and right of a flowering tree reminiscent of a bishop's crozier, holding hands. This is a representation of dignity and courtly restraint typical of love. The reverse bears a coat of arms borrowed from the coat of arms of the von Grzymala family - a Polish noble family. The black shield head depicts a rooted, silver oak stub with two leafy branches sprouting out laterally, below in silver a tinned red castle with an open gate and three towers, the middle larger one, attached to the gate with an upturned golden sword with dark green handles. (from the German Coat of Arms Roll, Volume 64)
In the circumferential red ring you can read: HONORE ♦ AVORUM ♦ NOSTORUM ♦ VIOIMUS and under the coat of arms OF GRZYMALA.
A mistake in the motto was overlooked during production. The correct saying should be "HONORE AVORUM NOSTRUM VIDIMUS", meaning for: "We live by the honor of our ancestors".
So many of my trackables have been muggled that I only release my GCs as virtuals. If you do not approve of this method, please leave it in the cache for a cacher who understands. Thanks! CL

Thanks to the 2023 Christmas Day blizzard my daughter, JMVonFange, was delayed in heading home so we spent the bonus time together comparing our caching statistics including trackables discovered and looking through our geocaching pictures. JM has discovered significantly more trackables that I have mainly because while we were staying home during the pandemic she spent time online and spotted numerous TBs that were being shared virtually on various social media sites like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc. Thankfully, she still had a few notes that helped guide my search for the same trackables that she had already discovered. After looking at the TB page for each of the TBs that she had discovered, I found that a large number all belonged to several individuals and sent a message to them individually inquiring about permission to log their trackables. This travel bug was on the list that you shared with me.
