Knobby is named after the shape of the wood, little knobs left of what used to be branches. Knobby would like to follow the Wild West wagon trails and is headed west.
Knobby is one of the four Drifters travel bugs. Each Drifter is attached to a chunk of driftwood from the shores of Abram Lake, hence "The Drifters". They are travellers, wanting to see as much of the world as possible, each heading off into a different direction. Will they ever be reunited?
