plastic Pall ring
One of the most common and well known packings, the Pall ring is an industry standard design media developed from the Raschig Ring and is used widely in all variety of applications.
Available in metal, thermoplastic and ceramic materials.
Acid resistant ceramic rings are widely used in refineries, chemical engineering, acid plants, gas plants, oxygen plants, steel plants and pharmaceutical plants. They are mainly used as linings of reaction vessel in washing towers, cooling towers, reclaiming towers, desulphurization towers, drying towers and absorbing towers. They can also be used as lining bricks in anti-corrosion pools and channels.
The acid-proof packing manufactured has a good natural capacity to resist corrosion, and the specific surface area is large with little obstruction. It also has high efficiency, impenetrability and abrasion resistance. Mechanical and chemical characteristics are in accordance with national standards. Nowadays, these products are the best materials available for use in packing tower.
Features:
1) The pall ring packing has chracteristics of low pressure drop, high glux and high efficiency.
2) Improved packing has lower pressure and higher mass transfer efficiency than pall ring in the same size.
3) In addtion, improved has good distribution for liquids of in the packing bed.
Applications:
Various separation, absorption and desorption equipment, normal
atmospheric pressure reduced and vacuum distillation plant, decarburateing
and desulfuration systems, ethyl benzene separation, and Iso-octane/toluene
systems.
