It's a warm, sunny Boxing day afternoon, and team bearsleys are recovering from Christmas.
"There's a cache I'd like to find." says GeoDad.
"Sure, where?" says GeoMum.
"Um... 54 km from here."
Neither of us really has an idea of what the submarine house might be (military installation?), but it's piqued our curiosity. So we bundle the GeoKids into the car at 3pm and off we go, after a coffee at Aqua Cubile.
Close to the GZ, we roll up and down the road a few times before finding the track. I do a quick recon while GeoMum wakes up the kids.
"You won't believe it" I say after returning from the forward scout.
Wow. After some searching, and scratching of heads, we recover the cache, and swap TBs and geocoins.
We pickup the boomerang. What a cool little GC!
GeoBoy wants to explore. GeoGirl is not so sure. The place looks like a setpiece for Midsummer Murders.
The place could do with an extreme makeover, but it's spectacular in it's own kookiness.
No amount of WD40 is going to close those skylights!
