"Yen to Fen" started out its life in Tokyo Japan as a set of Japanese Yen. The final goal is to reach the Fen in Fontana, WI USA. Take your time, take lots of pictures and add things along the way if you'd like.

About This Item

"Yen to Fen" started out its life in Tokyo Japan while I was on a business trip from the USA. "Yen to Fen's" goal is to find its way home -- but have fun on the way. Please add small items to "Yen to Fen" and take lots of pictures. Its final goal is a cache in a Fen in Fontana, WI USA (90 miles NW of Chicago, IL USA). If you get close enough it'll be your job to figure out what a Fen is and which cache is hidden there. Have fun!!!

I finally have Yen to Fen back in my own hands. What a long (and lonely) journey it had. One year lost and rusting on a mountain side and magically picked-up and repaired to eventually find it's way home. Quite cool! Thanks to all the cachers for adding items and keeping him moving. Found this while out today with geoslittlegirl before heading up to Michigan's U.P. Had intended to make a drop up there until reading the overall desires of the bug.

Being a geologist and working in the environmental field, I know what a Fen is. Just need to figure out the details of the location and will complete the journey for this guy!! Very exciting because we have never finished off the journey for a bug!!!!
