Current Goal

My current goal is to return to my owners, the Cachebandits! I have been on the road for 5 years and am very excited to see them! If you find me in a cache in mass, please leave me there so they can pick me up, GGGRRRUUUFFF!!! 5 years i've been gone!!!!

About This Item

Bad Doggie!

The I.O.D. knows no one, yet knows all. He is the object of any stuffed animal's desire. For he is the Inside-Out Dawg! If and when you get your hands on him, please take some time to observe his keen nature, and frothing-at-the-mouth disposition. Be careful not to get too close, for he may bite you and turn YOU inside out! He loves to do bad things. If you help photograph him doing BAD things, you will be rewarded by the Gods of the animal stuffing, and will be spared the horrid death of being skinned alive and turned inside-out like he was! Now, please be good geocachers, help him along on his mission and don't steal him as he has Lo-Jack and the Animal Police will be at your front door in a matter of minutes. RUFF RUFF RUFF!!!!

P.S. in my picture to the right, you can see that I am being a BAD BAD Dawg! Kitties don't like Inside-Out-Doggies, but I don't care, cause I am BAD BAD BAD! WOOF!

The Muthafunkin Infamous I.O.D. is HOME!!!!! He's completed his nearly 5 year, 17,000 mile journey and has finally returned to the Cachebandits!!!! What a Bad Bad Bad Dog he's been! Here is a posting log of the tattoos he's received along the way:

The original tattoos before he left:

  1. On his back: "I.O.D."

  2. On his butt: "CACHEBANDITS!"

  3. On the outside of his left arm: "MOM" tattoo on heart with arrow through the middle

The new tattoos he received on his journeys around the country:

  1. Across his head, originally: "HATE HATE HATE"

  2. Across his head, now: "LOVE LOVE LOVE" (something else written before this, but cannot make it out).

  3. On the right side of his face: Cross symbol with initials "CJG"

  4. On the top of his head: a Peace sign with eyebrows drawn over his eyes.

  5. On the left side of his face: A heart with a triangle in the middle, and the words "RED, White Brainwashed"

  6. On left part of his back, down towards his butt: "LAND OF THE FREE?"

  7. On the right side of his back: "SKATE & DESTROY" and a little symbol that looks like a right side up V, with an upside down V layed over it.

  8. On the right side of this back, down to the outside of his right arm: Heart with arrow through it, and the word "MOTHER"

  9. On the inside of his right arm: "PIMP"

  10. On his chest towards his red rocket: "ERASE RACISM"

Also got a laminated pink tag around his neck with the printed words: "Infamous I.O.D. is a Travel Bug on a mission! Unless you are willing to log your part of the journey on the website www.geocaching.com, please do not take this item. If you agree to do this, please take this item, log your find, and move it to a new cache. Member ID: Cachebandits"

On the back side of this it says "STOP THIS IS NOT A TRADE ITEM, PLEASE READ"

Thanks to everyone that took pictures of him being a BAD BAD dog, cause boy, was he bad on his adventures!!!! and thanks to whomever tattooed him and thanks to the person that made the sweet tag around his neck!!

Maybe he'll have to go on another mission soon, requesting as many tattoos as possible!

As the logs show, I picked this up in Auburn, MA for a trip to Boston. The owners were going to go get the IOD out in Auburn, but I frustrated them (Unwittingly). Now I've dropped the IOD at the KITTY CACHE. Just thought it would be ironic to put the dog in a cat cache. Judging by the photo on IOD's mainpage, he should feel right at home.
Glad to have the honor of handling him on his last segment home!

Picked up the IOD which had hand written note outlining the need to get him to Boston. I was on my way to Wakefield, north of town, and figured I was doing good to grab him with plans to drop him somewhere near his ultimate destination....but now the owners have posted that they are coming out to Worcester to grab him...TOO LATE!
Let's see what arrangements we can make to get the DAWG home!

This little guy hooked up with a cacher heading back East today. GeoCoin Fest 2007 had a lot of people from all over the country visiting so I brought it down in hopes of finding a traveler for him to tag along with. I gave him to Steph and will 100% luck she found someone heading back to Mass. Your bug should be back in it's home state soon.

Thanks a bunch,
UtChaz & Family
