Current Goal

I've always liked travelling a lot and taking photos of those places I visite. I like especially high mountains, big rivers, caves and other great wonders of nature. I'm getting older everyday and it's getting harder and harder to travel alone. So I'm asking, would you please be so kind and take me with you to places like that and take photos of me there. When I get back home I can sit in my rocking-chair, watch those photos and remember all those great moments I had while I traveled. Thank you. * This GC is taking part of Finnish TB race. So move it as fast as you can to next cache.

About This Item

A reminder to everyone: While this coin technically "sets in stone" the guidelines as written today - guidelines change over the years and it is very important for everyone to re-read them prior to posting a new Geocache. This part of the series showcases the "Permanence Guideline" which requires that all caches placed be intended to have a permanence of at least 3 months under typical circumstances. The guidelines, of course, go into more detail about this requirement. You can read some of the text of the guidelines on the reverse of this coin as an immortal reminder of the key component to the guideline.

    Not in the Owl's Head as of today.
    Dropped Off 8/11/2008 M-Traveler placed it in The Owl's Head-Old Man Support Team Cache New Hampshire - 3,796.58 miles  Visit Log

    Finally dropped off the coin in a cache worthy of its wishes. It is near the best viewing location for the former Old Man of the Mountain, a rock formation that was an icon for the state of New Hampshire located in beautiful Franconia Notch. It collapsed in 2003 and plans have been developed for a memorial.
