About This Item

Once a year, in the Springtime, the Maryland Geocaching Society (MGS) launches its', Cache Across Maryland (CAM). Ten caches are placed across the length and breadth of The Old Line State. Each cache contains a code. Each cacher carries a passport. The code on the passport is stamped or punched. CAM lasts about six weeks. When the deadline is reached, a decode key is e-mailed to the participates, which when super-imposed upon the passport, reveals the coordinates for Annual CAM Picnic. This Coin represents the 5th Anniversary of this activity.

This Coin is launching on Saturday, Novemeber 1st, 2008 to commemorate the MGS House of Temple Event in Washington, D.C. - a fruitful collaboration between the MGS and the Scottish Rite of Freemasonry (Masonic Geocaching Society). Caches will be placed World-Wide at Scottish Rite and Masonic sites of note. Thank You.
