Current Goal

travel the world. These are clogs, thus they go where-ever the wearer brings them.

About This Item

these are small wooden clogs decorated with Delftware Art. They are tagged on July 6th 2009 on the eve of our own holiday towards Iceland. We thought to tag these clogs and drop them somewhere on our journey and leave some typical (only for tourists actually) Dutch tradition, as a signature of our journey. Hopefully they will survive the elements of nature long enough to see something of this world.

Gr@nny placed it in Railsplitter North Bug Hotel.

Railsplitter North Bug Hotel was found by Gr@nny and her TB companions Wednesday, April 3, 2013; they signed the log at 9:15 am. Gr@nny, actually great-grandma three times and counting, was soooo glad to find this TB hotel with its woodsy view. I left TBs and took nothing. It will take several more days at least for all of this TB bookkeeping to be completed. They are beautiful and interesting. Hope you find one or two to your liking to exchange.
I want to highlight several of them. The lovely, dainty Delftware Wooden Clogs from the Netherlands wants to travel the world. DDRAMS' Sunflower Star from Okinawa, Japan, and Northern Star Council- 100 Years of Scouting History-1938 from Minnesota want to visit geocaches. Kate's U.S. Flag Panama Canal Travel Coin from Texas would like to go to that famous canal. Duck505's Minelab Ultimate Geocaching Hunt Geocoin from Wisconsin is different; check it out. Thank you for the TB hotel. Gr@nny

Gr@nny visted/took it to Huh? Gr@nny's four Geogirls just landed and our very first stop is Huh? It is very near the airport. The TBs will be in their Denim TB Hotel, held by Gr@nny for about a week. They had a look at the Jima Monument.

My grand-daugher (Princess of the Ecorangers) will be handing this one to me next week. She will be flying to Texas during her spring break to vacation here~South Padre Island~with her cousins and aunt (GuareGirls). Happy Adventures!
