Current Goal

I was bought at the very spot of a cache I was named after "Crack A Smile" in Oak Creek Canyon, AZ. I was watching a cliff climber...very scary. So now I am in flat lands I feel safer. Move me along for exciting adventures. Take pictures of me and my travels

Just posting some pictures before I send this little guy off into the world again. We just attended an Event cache with about 50 local geocachers. We also went hiking in the woods, walked along the mighty Columbia River, and etc. Thanks for sending out this cool TB.

  • At a firestation in Longview, WA The weather has been the usual dry summer as it usually is in the NW. (And most people think it rains here all the time. We just say that so we dont get so overcrowed with people wanting to move here lol). Heres smokey with a smokey sign warning folks of the fire danger.
  • wide view
  • Smokey and I geocaching at the geocache Kress Lake 2 GC10X4J, sitting along a woodland lake.
  • Victory! We found the geocache at Kress Lake.
  • Foothills of the Cascades A nice clearing in the woods of the Cascade Mountains.
  • Walking along the shore of the mighty Columbia River, 4th largest in the nation.
  • Off Carrols Bluff after finding a new geocache Carrolls Bluff 2 GC1XJ6H. The picture doesnt give the view justice.
  • Believe it or not but Smokey is in that crowd of geocachers with me. Thanks to my friend for taking this picture. Alot of people liked him at today's event cache (Aug. 30).
  • More cachers and Smokey
  • Smokey and a log cabin At the park at the geo event. About 50 people showed up, I would say about 20 saw Smokey, and they all loved him.

We had a most enjoyable time sharing our travels with Crack A Smile, It's Smokey as we toured the breathtakingly beautiful states of Oregon and Washington. Among Smokey's many adventures, he and fellow TB traveling companion Bonaventure Bee flew with us to Portland; hiked the trails of Mt. Hood National Park, Mt. Rainier National Park & and Mt. St. Helen National Park; explored the northwestern Pacific coastline; took a whitewater rafting trip down the Deschutes River; and even managed to pay a visit to the Original Stash Cache to have his photo taken at this geo-shrine. Worn out from his adventures, he decided to take a rest at the Kelso River TB Hotel in Washington before moving on to his next adventure. We hope he enjoyed his time with us as much as we enjoyed having him.

  • The View At 32,000 Feet
  • Climbing Mt. Rainer

Grabbed this really cool TB. Plan to take some pics and take to a geocaching event in a short time and send it on its way, maybe in a forest cache.

After grabbing up Smokey from a cache recently and learning that he'd been purchased in a rock climbing area of Arizona, we decided to take him along with us on our rappelling cache adventure. Check out GCYK7H for more photos of the cache site. If you look closely, you can see Smokey attached to the rappelling harness. Stay tuned for further adventures.
