Rakit the Gargoyle has accomplished his first mission and saved the day at the National Cathedral. He now wishes to “cross the pond” and search for his distant Gargoyle relatives for family pictures at the Notre Dame Cathedral
in Paris France. He then hopes to visit other Gothic Buildings in Europe looking for his roots before heading back home to sunny Miami Florida USA.

First Mission completed 3/11/06!!!!
My name is “Rakit” the Flying Dog Gargoyle from Miami Florida. I’m on an urgent mission to Washington DC (20016) to the National Cathedral to warn my Gargoyle friends that the evil “Darth Vader” has taken roost in the Northwest Tower! He intends to steal the moon rock mounted in the Space Window for his own evil purposes. Please help me move forward with my journey and by posting pictures of me at the National Cathedral and other Gothic style buildings, then return me to Miami once my mission is complete. This is a non- religious Travel Bug Journey to one of our nations historic sites. It has over 700,000 visitors a year with attractions including 110 gargoyles, 215 stained glass windows, 288 carved angels and a moon rock in the Space Window. Check Out these web pages:
