About This Item

The Auld Lang Syne Twins

Diane and Duncan.

This is the story of Duncan and Diane.
Their story is a sad one.
The above picture is the last one taken in which they were together.
They are The Auld Lang Syne Twins.
One is called Duncan 5CR8PZ and the other twin is Diane C1YBBT.

They have been separated but are now old enough to travel on their own and want to meet up again.
They don't want to dwell on past misfortunes but want to look forward to a happy time when they are together again.
When they were young they ran about the hills and picked daisies. They paddled in the burn from morning until late but since then they have been apart.

One was sent overseas and grew up in California. The other was brought up in Scotland.

AULD LANG SYNE by Robert Burns, Scotland's National Poet.

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brought to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days o' lang syne?

We twa hae run about the braes
And pu'd the gowans fine
But we've wandered mony a weary foot
Sin auld lang syne

We twa hae paidlet i' the burn
Frae morning sun sill dine
But seas between us braid hae roar'd
Sin auld lang syne

Can you help them meet up?

Can you move them ever closer together even if it is only a few miles at a time?
There is no deadline to this but it will be interesting to see what stories they have to tell each other when they do meet up.

Once they have met up will you attach them together and send them back to either Stirling, Scotland or Santa Cruz, California.

Thank-you!
