Goal: Increase awareness about the Take a Kid Fishing Foundation; land in caches near great fishing holes and get you to take a kid fishing!

About This Item

For more than 20 years, the Take a Kid Fish Foundation has been holding annual events so disabled and disadvantaged children may learn about fishing, angler ethics, the art of fishing, sport fishing concerns and our natural resources. In the process, the kids learn about themselves.

There are chapters all over the US! From the Crystal Coast of North Carolina to Freshwater Lagoon in northern California. There are Rainbow trout in Montauck and King salmon at Kenai Peninsula. Colorado has more than 101 ponds, lakes and reservoirs to fish in. You could fish with Paul Bunyan and Babe in Bemidji, MN or Scotty and Spock in Enterprise, AL.

Some say you can either go fishing or take a kid fishing, but you can't do both at the same time. Well, you can and you should! You may not catch as many fish, but you'll hook far more memories and give a kid an experience he'll never forget!
