Current Goal

Would love to visit the Promised Land -- Israel (otherwise known as Eretz Yisroel). But first, I need to get to a point of international departure (i.e., New York, New Jersey, Chicago, Los Angeles, Atlanta, or Miami). These cities all have direct flights to Israel. Once in Israel, I'd like to visit the Western (Wailing) Wall in the Old City. Snap my picture there, and then I'd be happy to continue traveling around the world, maybe one day returning to Las Vegas.

Akiva in Front of a Picture of the Old City

This travel bug is named after my beloved grandfather, Akiva, who loved the land of Israel almost as much as he loved his own family. He was born in Jerusalem, but spent most of his wonderful life in the United States. Please help him return to Israel for one last visit.
