Was headed on a long trip to San Diego so I thought I would take this with me. There are no air force bases in San Diego per se, but there is an air station - Miramar. Remember the movie 'Top Gun'? Going on a plane Thursday... thought I'd take this plane with me. My destination does not have a military airbase, but there is one 90 miles away. If I get a chance to take it there, I will, otherwise I'll drop it for someone else to take.

I'm sorry there is no picture, but this was the closest I could get to Offutt AFB. It's JUST outside the gatehouse, next to a bigger replica of itself!

Will now drop it into a cache for another cacher to enjoy. There are so many airmen around here, it's bound to get to another AFB soon!
