Current Goal

My name is Hissy from Central PA. I want to go to Roswell at the place were the aliens crashed, then to the Grand Canyon. The reason I want to go there is to learn about aliens and the Grand Canyon. Can you take me part of the way? I am doing this for a fifth grade Special Interest class and we will be plotting it on a map. Please take pictures/add an interesting fact on the website. Thank you!
From,
Hissy

About This Item

Hissy

I was born in a cave in the Grand Canyon when the aliens landed in Roswell New Mexico. I was in the state and panicked Then my family was caught by an evil man with a net. I spent my childhood in a cage in a pet store, until I was bought and flown to another pet store, called Petsmart. Then, I was bought by a nice family who let me out of my cage a lot. One day I asked them if I could go to the place where the aliens crashed, so I could see what happend on my birthday. Then to take me to my birthplace in the Grand Canyon, so I could see where I was born. They said yes, and put me in a cache so my adventures would begin. Please take care of me.

We made the goals for Hissy and reluctantly dropped him off here. If possible, we hope that he will get to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. He is in a nice new home for now and we will upload new pictures later. It has been great fun. Thanks for the adventure. Remember I asked you about getting from the South Rim to the North Rim? You could drive around on the highways. You could fly in a helicopter, and yes you could walk (Hike). There is a trail down, then crosses the river and up the other side. Check out the trail its called - Bright Angel. You can even ride down on a
Mule.

Boy am I proud, on my way back from
Roswell NM, to the Grand Canyon, we stopped along the way for a GC, and whoa, there was a pic, of my first cousin on a sign, He must have been in a bad mood cause he was not smiling. It is going to be a little cold at the Grand Canyon for most of my relatives, but believe me I will look. We stopped at the Vary Large Array in New Mex. You should look this one up on the net. It is fantastic, there are 27 antenna's pointed at the sky. They are 94 feet tall, 82 ft. in Dia., weigh 470,00 lbs, and are painted white to keep them cool, because heat would distort their accuracy. They are placed in a "Y" pattern along 13 mile long arms. Boy if the aliens needed directions they could certainly get them here. They were not here when the Roswell Aliens were in Roswell tho, cause that was on my birthday July of 1947. Will make it to the GRAND on March 28, 2010. WOW

  • Havn't seen my first cousin in years This pic is not his best side, must have been cranky and someone was bothering him. I was glad to see him tho!
  • calling all aliens If they could only hear me now, seems I heard this in a song.
