Take me to geocaches near to places where hard working men and women overcome the odds. Take pictures of places of interest.
I work for an electric utility. Bend the Trend was the name of a safety campaign aimed at changing a statistical trend in which on-the-job accidents tended to rise late in the year, especially during the holiday months when workers were preocupied with family cares.
In this case they did change the trend and the graphs took a turn for the better.
As a reminder, this medallion was given to employees.

Discovered in a park Olympia WA. My dad and his dad were linemen so the medallion caught my attention right away.

I stopped by one of my own caches today to check on it and leave a few TBs from Florida.
I hope to leave all 5 I brought back with me around town before departing on my next trip this weekend. This cache is located on church property across from the Thurston County Fairgrounds. It’s hidden under the stump the TBs are pictured on.

Orlando, Florida at the airport.
This previously found virtual cache is pretty cool. It’s a tourist inside a glass case and looks very real. They’ve even had instances of people calling 911 believing someone is trapped within. The TBs are pictured looking out from the Admiral’s Club lounge in terminal B by gate 55.
Almost time to fly home again.

We are at a virtual cache within the Animal Kingdom today. The marquee landmark here is the Tree of Life. It’s pictured in the background behind the TBs. This is our last day of vacation. Tomorrow we fly home and back to reality. But I have another big trip planned for next weekend to add some more states to my Geocache statistics page.

Today we are in Hollywood Studios. There is a virtual cache here, but the owner didn’t want pictures around ground zero. So we are elsewhere within the park instead for the TB picture-by Mickeys Runaway Railway.

Kissimmee, Florida (outside DisneyWorld to the Southeast). I found this TB in an Ammo can cache. It was within a nice neighborhood about 150’ off the road in the woods. I’ll move it along.
