    Well, there are no butterflies up here, or not that we've seen on this visit, anyway. But this is a great place to take a break and just enjoy the views.

    Hmm it's been 10 months, and Lavender hasn't gone anywhere. No problem: perhaps wintering at or near a lookout tower is not particularly the best of all possible places to promote one's travel plans. I'll take him back for a bit and relocate him to a cache known more for its documented accessibility. Considering my summer's travel plans, I am persuaded that won't be difficult to find.
