About This Item

405 Flyer

This travel bug started off it's life on July 4, 2004 by taking a flight on a 1940's AT-6 "Texan" from the Wadsworth/Rittman, Ohio Airport. The Boy Scouts from Rittman, Ohio are in the midst of working on the aviation merit badge, so the boys will be tracking this bug as it travels. Please take pictures of our troop emblem as it flies to new destinations.

405 Flyer is MISSING. Last dropped in Bikencache17 near Irvine California on September 23rd, 2006. It had traveled over 13,000 miles and visited some fantastic airplanes along it's travels. Hopefully it will resurface with new wings for greater travels. - Rittman405

I am always so excited to grab a TB with a low number in the sequence. It is proof of the staying power of travel bugs. Troop 405? Well we will introduce you to Troop 207, and maybe have to find a way to take a photo of you on the 405 freeway........
