Update: Aftter 15 years of travel it would be good to see this TB make it back to Scotland.
This champagne cork is from a bottle that was carried all the way up Britain's second highest mountain, Ben Macdui, to celebrate joint centuries. I celebrated my 700th cache and, unbeknownst to me, Jack Aubrey brought the bottle to join me in celebrating his 100th cache. We were accompanied by some good geocaching friends on a Scottish Geocachers' Day Out (SGDO) in August 2005. You can see the cache event page at Another SGDO - Ben Macdui. Update: This TB is now in its 6th year of travels and has enjoyed many celebrations with others en route. Many thanks to everyone for keeping it moving (and for repairs!). I hope it continues to travel. Jack and I met in 2005 at a CITO event and in June 2010 we got married, so we had lots to celebrate last year! Celebrations2 was released in 2011 to mark the celebration of our 1st wedding anniversary.
Update 2016: This TB has been travelling since 2005, almost 11 years. It disappeared in 2014 but miraculously reappeared 2 years later. It is lovely to read the stories that cachers have posted. Unfortunately Celebrations 2 disappeared in 2012. I wonder if this is one of the longest lasting TBs?
