Lone Star Pokey

Gumby and I were separated during our trip to New England. Gumby is forever wandering off to make new friends. Now I don't have him to help me find my way home to Austin, Texas, so I'm relying on you to get me there. I love an adventure and I really don't mind having my picture taken (hint, hint).

I (my wife actually) found Pokey today, and we brought him home for a visit. I'll give some thought as to how to help him move along, but I may actually take him back to where I found him. It's a good place to hitch a ride.

  • Pokey Napping Lone Star Pokey spent a week at my house getting some R&R. I patched a tear in his travel pouch. This weekend, I will take him back to the cache where I found him. It is at a tourist stop adjacent to I-40 and will be a good place for him to "hitch" a ride toward Austin.

Sorry he's taken so long to get moving again, but he got lost in my truck. I guess I might need to clean it occassionally. but he's a little closer to the prize in another state park.
