Attached to this Travel Bug is a medal, which contains a DIVA chip. This chip is used in television sets of all kind of brands. The medal was made, because 1 million DIVA chips were sold. Within the DIVA 3 project, executed by Philips Semiconductors in the 1990's. The chip contains re-usable building blocks which are still in use nowadays.
