    The Camaro is the right car in the right place in Southern California. No picture, but the Camaro was in El Cajon, about 15 miles east of the Million Dollar View cache. It's the hometown of NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson where he began his racing career at age 5. I intended to get a picture of the Camaro in front of the El Cajon Speedway where he raced but it didn't happen.

    • At Windansea Beach, La Jolla CA Great surf today. Several surfers catching some good waves at the historic surfing beach. Most surfers were to the right of the picture. There's a wedding today by the surfers' hut.
    • At Windansea Beach, La Jolla CA Another view of the scene at the beach. Morning overcast will burn off soon. This is one of 000-18's favorite places on the planet.
    • On the trail toward Million Dollar View Cache This is a great cache to park the Camaro. The cache is frequently visited by out-of-towners and in a safe muggle free zone. It makes a great TB hotel. The Scripps Institute of Oceanography is just below us, UCSD campus is to the right. In the distance is "downtown" La Jolla and the beach below is La Jolla Shores. It's one of the best family beaches in all of California. Swimming, boogie boarding and surfing, complete with fire rings, large park with grass and shade. Tide pools to the north.

    Hmmm. Not sure what happened here. I grabbed the TB from Scootergal and placed it in the Million Dollar View cache. Scootergal picked this TB up in NY and knew I could probably get a photo-op with a red '67 Camaro rs 327 w/3 speed stick on the floor, and maybe some other cool Chevy's. So, If all goes well I'll get that opportunity soon and drop #67 in a cache in San Diego later this month. ...And drop and grab along the way to get some mileage on the odometer.
